Well hell yes why didn't I remember he is a racer. I'm sure that's what it is.

so, why only the front? Might it have something to do with the grass excursion?

we only need the front cause the 090 rear is suppose to do pretty well in the rain. its the front thats a problem (003). we hadn't thought about getting one until our first rain race. it'd be fine if we knew it would be wet, but when you do a 5 hour race half of it might be wet and the other half dry. hard to change your tire mid race... especially if theres a line at the bridgestone tent :D

and yes, its for a spare for the track. ;)

i've been keeping an eye on ebay and haven't seen one yet. i was hoping maybe another bikes wheel would work, but doesn't look like thats an option either.
