Hey guys, I've been browsing on the forum for a while and figured I'd take the step and sign up as a member. Not quite sure what to say.. my name is Clint, I'm 25 years old and I bought a 2009 Ninja 250R Special Edition in July. I took my MSF course on my b day - bought my bike a week later and two weeks after that I took and passed my M1 exam.
The story on how I ended up getting my bike:
I have always wanted a bike as a kid but I was looking to buy a Lotus and it was so hard finding one that had everything I wanted.. I was giving up on it and I wanted to get a bike instead until I saw the perfect one. I went out and bought it. Fast forward 3 years and my cousin bought a Ninja 250R... the same bike I wanted! It brought back how much love i had for getting a bike and I knew I had to get the bike I have always wanted. As a bonus, it would be so much fun to have someone to ride with and both kinda start out on the same level and grow. I saw the perfect bike and I went out to buy it and since I didn't have my M1 license yet, my cousin rode it home for me.
If you're from my area (Ceres, Modesto, Turlock), maybe we can ride sometime.
