New to the 250 racing scene, RC-Rick let me ride his street 250 months ago and I knew I needed one after that.

Wife's done a few track days on it so far. Did my first track day on it last weekend.

So far woodcraft clip-ons and SVracing rear sets have gone on, rest is stock.

Purchased air filter and jet kit from a member here this afternoon, and my suspension guy is getting me prices on fork internals and a new rear shock.

Its a blast passing bikes with 100+ more HP in the corners!

Me trying to tell my wife I need gas...

My wife coming into turn 1, dropped 5 seconds off her best time from last TD

Sorry pics are so huge... Other forums re-size them.

Looking forward to it! This past weekend the field was pretty big for the 250 class!

They use these speed bump looking sections as a chicane coming out of the last turn that leads you to the straight away to start finish.

You throw the bike hard to the left and she just caught one of the humps.

She's all good though, didn't wreck.

She said she never even felt it, just went to shift and nothing was there...

I saw yall there. That is exciting for me because I didn't remember at all till I saw that picture. I'm the 250 guy that crashed in turn 7 and got a ride to the hospital.
Watch out for those pegs. That is what they said happened to me. Leaned over too far and the pegs lifted my rear and I high sided like a chump.

Sorry about your off, hope you recover quickly!

Turn 7 is notorious for causing high sides, there's a dip in the pavement just before the exit that sucks you down just enough to catch pegs and more likely large rear spools.

Saw your thread on MCRA's board but don't have any video of it so didn't comment.

What section were you running in, color bike?

I was on a white 250 with red tank. Wearing the orange shirt for the racer clinic in intermediate.

Welcome. I'm doing my best getting people hooked on the 250. Drew makes number 4 or 5.

There might be something wrong with me, I've never wanted to upgrade a bike so much.

In one week since riding the 250 on the track I've bought:

Full Two Bro's exhaust
Yosh rear set Risers
stage 3 Jet Kit
Bolt on Airfilter
Stock GSXR steering dampner and mount

Still waiting on prices from my suspension guy too...

Gateway is in 3 weeks!

Haha... I wanted to upgrade mine before I got it. Modding is half the fun
