Ive been told the little rod is called "Tie rod" but the end part on the opposite side from the "shifter" is it supposed to wiggle around loosely?

It's a ball joint... It's designed and made to wiggle around

So if it wiggles around alot its normal ? of course while shifter is not on should get my SV Racing rear set in a hour or so in the mail !

It's a ball inside a collar... If it didn't wiggle around you would have a problem, or if it popped apart. Lots and lots of mechanical things have one or more some place or another

Tie rod end, spherical rod end.... pivoting so it can work at many angles.

The heim joints would fail after a crash sometimes. This was observed a few times and looking at the guys part in the beginning of the thread, I was interested if it also failed.

FYI the dot on the shifter linkage is supposed to line up with the line on the rod.
