I've been here for a month or so now, and figure it's probably about time to introduce myself.
I'm Steve from Providence, RI - I'm 30 for another week, and I've got an awesome little 3 month old daughter.
The 250's my first bike, purchased back in September after I took the MSF course and got my permit. She's a spectacular little machine, and I'm sorry to say that she's been down twice already - once in the parking lot when a car hit her and knocked her down (insurance paid for repairs and the "labor" paid for my rearset - I might be pretty weak with a wrench, but even I can replace fairings, signals and mirrors :thumbup:), and once when I learned the valuable lesson of letting your tires warm up (~10 mph lowside in 35 degree weather, while heading to the gas station to winterize her, no less).
I'm amazed at what I've seen here so far - I've got to commend you, Alex, for putting together the most informative and friendly forum I've yet seen!
