Hi all, I find this forum quite helpful.
So my problem began as a conspicuous change in the sound of the engine at idle and low rpm. My commute is mostly freeway though so i forget about it until i exit back on to surface streets and it reappears.
I rode about half a tank like this and it seemed to be getting worse. The engine has a wet, gurgling sound from idle-5k. It is slow and unresponsive, but fine in the higher rpms. Backing off throttle in the low range, the rpms seem to linger and slowly sputter their way back to idle. I thought it might have been bad gas, but i filled up again and it's still there.
My 08 250r has been trouble free until this. I'm at 8k miles. I've been unfortunately busy, sick, sleep deprived, etc.. so as much as i would like to troubleshoot this (the only DIY i've done is the snorkel remove), if it's not an easy fix, maybe i will have to take it to a dealer.
Maybe it's the spark plugs? Any ideas? Thanks all
