$200 us is reasonable for this? after converting to canadian and shipping this may be more than i thought... much difference between Intuitive and shogun?

Scotty, welcome to the boards. Make sure to head over to the new member section and say hello! :D

As to the slider thing, I have no idea. Sadly, my year of bike doesn't have any available.

Found this site for Shogun frame sliders after paying much more someplace else. Install was easy, but you do have to cut the fwd sprocket cover. I can send you a .PDF if you go this route.

i picked up the shogun crash kit for a bit over $200. http://www.surfsidemoto.com/store/product/OFDSCKK.html

it includes the frame sliders that 250 super ninja linked to, bar ends, and the swing arm sliders (which also doubles as a mount for the rear stand)

i slipped and went down while trying to do a slow speed u-turn. i went over a pile of freshly cut wet grass that was on the side of the road. anyways, the kit took the whole damage.. which were some scrapes on all 3 sliders on the left side of my bike. my bike was perfectly fine.

1200 miles and that was the only time i went down. really dumb thing, but i guess a lot of these incidents usually are. anyways, i don't know if it is worth it to others, but i am really glad i have them on my bike.

welcome! I have the intuitive ones - haven't had to use them yet, but they were first out, so that's what I got!

I got a steal on the shogun crash kit. retails for just over $200 but swooped them for $120 w/ shipping. Gotta love eBay :D

I'll post pics here or in the appropriate thread when I get a chance.
