Found on Moto Machines site. Hepco Becker rack that replaces the Ninja 300 rear seat. Not cheap, but defineately convenient. This could really simplify mounting a top case. Unfortunately, it's not available for the 250. http://www.motomachines.com/Sportrack--Kawasaki-Ninja-300_p_3317.html Many people use an old seat pan for that purpose on the 250, but there's probably not a lot of rear seats with damaged uphoulstry from a Ninja 300 available on eBay yet.

It's super easy to make mounts like that . I think it would be cool to make one that does side backs and is quick removal and reinstall
