Alright, so I've been searching the forum but haven't found anything that really answers my question, so here goes. I picked up a wrecked 08 ninja 250 for cheap, but the speedo was completely demolished as was anything made of plastic on the bike. So I decided to go streetfighter with it cause its cheaper and quicker to make it street worthy. I've been looking at several speedo options on eBay but can't decide which one to go with. Obviously we all pretty much know about the Trail Tech Vapor, but at $90 without dummy lights, and the fact that I hate digital tachs; I've pretty much thrown out that idea. I know that the Chinese speedos haven't gotten a very good rep on here, but I've also noticed that there are some models that I haven't seen on here.

But first up is going to be this Honda 250 speedo that I found for $75 shipped, the seller says that it will fit other makes and models but is that really true? Mounting can be rigged up easily enough, but do the plugs match up for all the electronics? Also the fuel gauge is pretty important to me as well. Has anyone tried this? Yea, I ended up settling for a barely used trail tech I found for $65, it's not the look or function I was going for but when you are on a tight budget and don't wanna waste time or money dealing with the Chinese ones that never work right then you gotta do what you gotta do. Haven't gotten it hooked up yet though.
