View Full Version : Rear Brake light switch

hi all, im putting my bike back together after my wreck. Im installing a new rearset and have it almost back together. Excepet i dont know where the rear brake light switch goes...i think i am missing a spring that attaches it to somewhere....but to where? could anyone take some pictures of it for me? thanks

yes and no...i see how the switch mounts to the rearset...but now i need ot know where to connect the spring...also where did you get these pictures? they arent in the service manual i have

ah i found it haha im an idiot...and after going iout to look at the bike i see where it goes now...it attaches to the spring that the pedal attaches too...thanks for the input

ok im having more trouble

im using this site http://www.babbittsonline.com/pages/parts/viewbybrand/9/29/53971/402/default.aspx to buy new parts for my bike

i need that spring for the rear brake light switch shown in the attachment.....but i cant find it anywhere on that site....maybe yall could look? im having a terrible time finding it

Could you show me exactly where that spring goes? I know this is a ridiculous necropost but google brought me here and I don't think that spring attaches to the pedal spring unless mine was just stretched in my wreck. If anyone could help, that'd be awesome.
