Recently installed bike master brand turn signals on my bike. They don't blink very good. Very weak and slow blink. Very dull. Any ideas?

Are they LED's?

You should really do yourself a favor and read the newgen wiki. Also, read this, but keep in mind that this link is mostly referring to the pre-gens, but much of the info is relative to both bikes. Ninja250Wiki (http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/Ninja250_Howto)

perhaps this thread will help you out.

if they are leds, make sure you have installed a new electronic flasher relay, as well as the diode kit

Do you really need to install diode kit as well to get it to work?

Well, first, make sure you have an electronic flasher relay.

To answer your question, you do not need a diode kit, but it is the simplest way to get your blinkers to all work correctly if you have leds.

You can do what this guy did:

But that seems to be more difficult in my opinion. I just did the no-cut diode kit. It was a breeze and simple to install

I would just get the diode kit from modmy250.com and follow his installation video:

Or follow the thread. I think the thread is easier to understand and follow:

AFAIK the diode is only needed when all four signals are LEDS. Otherwise just the electric relay will work.

Depending on your specific LEDs, since i am not sure if all LED lights will work the same.

correct. an electronic flasher relay is required regardless. if you have leds in the front, but the oem filament rear blinkers, you will not need a diode kit. if you have oem filament front blinkers, and leds in the rear, you will not need a diode kit.

however as NevadaWolf said, if you have all four signals as leds, you will need both the electronic flasher relay, and the diode kit.
