The 08+ 250 and ninja 300 share the same rear sets, has anyone tried any off ebay? I know there is some trimming on the kick stand side is needed. Has anyone gotten a set that just outright didn't fit?

Most 250 rear sets are rebranded to work on 300s or have already been changed to fit with no modding. bitaria April 16th, 2014, 06:52 PM Yes, I got eBay Sato knockoffs on Ninja 250. They mounted up with no issues, but came with wrong linkage fittings. From what I understand it is not that common, but happens. It took them a few month to ship correct linkage, by then I machines something that fit. In all other respects quality seems alright, I did two track days on the bike so far with no issues, even survives a slight tip-over. genosr1 May 16th, 2014, 01:58 PM most name brands are made overseas also bitaria May 16th, 2014, 02:36 PM most name brands are made overseas also Says who? Woodcraft and Vortex are made in USA. JohnnyBravo May 17th, 2014, 10:39 AM SV racing is American made! I like my stuff made around my backyard! MNDruggist May 18th, 2014, 03:30 PM I bought some moth racing rearsets from and ebay seller in Thailand. I just wanted something different and red colored. They were actually much less expensive at the time over other brands. I paid about $175, but they took about 2 weeks to ship overseas. They look identical to the bohemian group buy rearsets in a thread from a few years back. I had to flip the brake cylinder, shorten the brake line, add a pressure switch for the rear brake light, and bleed the brakes of course. Not exactly a small project, but I'm glad I got the experience. If I had to do it over I would buy vortex because of the greater adjustability. The moth rearsets only had about 1- 1.25" gain in clearance from stock. I'm almost 6' tall so I need a little more room.
