Just thought I'd share some good places to buy OEM parts if you can't find any seller via eBay, Craigslist, or through the forums.

I've online compared online OEM part sellers, at least for the '08+ 250R, and the following websites seem to be the best:

http://www.cheapcycleparts.com
This place has good prices but shipping can get pretty pricey.. if you live near them, maybe you can save by picking up. Service is good though.. and I got lucky and they actually sent me double of some parts hehe.

This is the last place I ordered fairings from. I ordered the front and left side fairing and shipping was only $30! That's 3x cheaper than from CheapCycleParts.com. Shipping was fairly fast coming from NC to CA. About 7 business days. I personally like them better than cheapcycleparts so far.

You ain't kidding about shipping at cheapcycleparts. Way too much for ground shipping. There is a good site out there (the name escapes me at the moment) for 08-09 oem stuff. Found them through google. kawisakiparts.com out of illinios i believe.

Cool. If you find it, post it.
And if anyone knows any other good places, do tell.

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER! :D

This might be the site you're referring to:

http://www.kawparts.com (http://www.kawparts.com/default.asp)

No experience with them, just did a google search.

Yeah, kawparts.com is it. For what I ordered I found their prices on par with everyone else I checked. Also made a mistake about cheapcycleparts.com cause I never dealt with them. It was cyclepartsnation.com and they were a little more expensive than kawparts. (for what i ordered)

These guys hooked me up quick back when no one had seat cowls, and I got mine for like 75 bucks.

Haha, I used to work at MR cycles back in 2003. Yeah, they have a little dungeon with about 8 guys downstairs selling parts online. Not sure if they're the best deal out there, since I know how cheap the owner is. I don't take him to have the volume sales philosophy. Maybe he's changed his ways. I've always found RonAyers.com to be pretty good. But I always check a few of the places that come up on a google search when I'm looking around. Dealer cost on OEM parts is 50% of retail. So getting 30% off is pretty generous. I managed an independent motorcycle shop for a little while, and we got our parts from the dealer for cost plus 15%, maybe 20%. I forget now, It was 8 years ago.
