I'm back on the ninjette after about a 2 year hiatus. I bought my ninja new in '07 and it was my daily commuter for about 5 years. A job change left the baby in storage for 2 years. Unfortunately, it was not well stored and I spent the last 2 months getting the engine running and the bike back to running order. But this weekend it all came together and I'm looking forward to getting back to commuting on the deuce-fifty. :bounce:

When I was fixing up the bike, it had spider webs in the exhaust pipes, rats chewed the seat cover, the carb bowls weren't drained so you can imagine the crap in there, the battery was dead as a doornail..... And would you believe the dang tires still had 28.5 psi front, 33 psi rear. I have to put air in my car tires at least twice a month.

It certainly makes you feel proud to see the fruits of your labor. There's just something magical about the sound of that engine past 10,000 that makes you grin no matter what kind of day you're having.
