I am Richard, I live in a small town North of Durham North Carolina. in 2011 I took the riders edge class that Harley Davidson offers so I could learn to ride a bike. The next weekend I went out a bought a Ninja 250r, a black one. I sold it a couple of months later because of health issues. However I just bought a 2012 Ninja 250r a week ago. I love it. the 250r has enough power for me to get away from others, while not having enough power to kill me as I take off.

I love this bike and I am glad I found this place as I can see what others are running on their 250s to improve performence and just chat about the 250s.

Thanks.

Good day, sir! Glad that the health issues didn't keep you away too long. I had a DVT a few years back after I broke my ankle and because of the blood thinners I couldn't ride for 18 months, so I feel your pain!

My health issue had to do with my back. A 16 year old kid rear ended me and I have buldging disc now. I had surgery on my neck to fix that disc but I am unable to correct the other as it's in the middle of the back and that is the most stable part. So it's really hard from me to hold up any weight. This is another reason why I ride a 250. I am unable to support the weight of any other bike. The max weight I can do is close to 420 pounds.
