So I have the fuel injected version of the 250r (2008) and most of the topics I've come across are about the carb version. So here is a silly question: do I need to clean or service the fuel injectors?

Secondly, I came across this topic today and wondered what everyone else thought about cleaning your fuel filters. Do you? How often?

Fuel injection maintenance? Just run quality fuel though the system and you shouldn't need to worry with the injectors too much unless there suddenly is a problem. They make those fuel injector cleaner solutions in a bottle that you would add to your gas. Their usage and benefits would be similar to that of using seafoam for carbs.

As far as the fuel filter, do I check it? Sure, once per year at the beginning of the riding season.

Thanks for the reply! I wasn't 100 percent sure on both questions because most forums are US-based and with a EU model I just wanted to make sure that I didn't miss anything in my service :)
