I was changing out my clutch lever and I had to adjust the the clutch cable so I had some more slack. I was messing with my bike and I was able to shift from neutral into first without using the clutch and vice versa (bike wasn't running).

Should I be worried? Can I fix this by adjusting the clutch cable again?

Alright, cool. I didn't notice it before, so I didn't know if it was something I did. Haha.

Alex is right but if you care to know why.

The clutch disengages the transmission from the motor so there is no drag allowing the gears to smoothly slide across to the next. If the motor isn't running then nothing is spinning and there's nothing to create drag so the trans can slide its gears with no friction without the need for the clutch.
