actually. the cortech was a seperate order.
I ordered the cortech from motosport.com. ordered it on thursday and got it on sat. I would definitely buy from them due to fast shipping and great service.
this jacket i ordered from motorcyclecloseout.com. I ordered it last weds and I just got it today. shipping here is slower.
I'm not done yet. I returned the cortech for an alpinestars. hehe..:p

returning is expensive though.
from now on i need to measure and make sure b4 i place an order.
the shipping is about 10-12 dollars everytime i have to return an item.

I love the Placerville area! I have family up that way (Well friends that are so close they are family). I have ridden my bike up that way twice. It was a 3 hr journey to get there from SJ (mainly because of 580). I am going to be up there visiting in June/July. :)

Up here in Canada its more like 20:1....with the exception of Chemical and Industrial Engineering. Nothing like waking up in the morning to be in a cramped, un-airconditioned room full of guys. Sweet.....sweet.....:painkiller:

I graduated from RIT a year ago! It is not 2:1 there... it's more like 8 douchebags and 1 nasty chick. I suggest you to meet girls at U of R, SUNY Geneseo, SUNY Buffalo, or the Liberal Arts department. Good luck man, what are you studying?

as for me? I was dating this girl from suny binghamton. 2.5 hour drive each way, but it brought me away from all that bs. Take my advice, don't be a douchebag, buy a car, and find nicer chicks from other schools.

haha, that's funny. I have no idea what it's actually like (yeah, I visited, but you don't meet the actual people) so I'll find out the hard way I guess. :rolleyes: I'm going for Mechanical Engineering and if all goes right I'll get my master's after 5 years there, or at least that's the hope.

CBR's are very cool! :thumbup: I have owned 4 to date. How do I feel the two 250's compare? Honestly, after riding them back to back.. The only thing I prefer on the Ninja 250R is the ergonomics. It is a more upright seating position and there is a lot more leg room. Motor and handling wise, the CBR250RR blows the Ninja 250R out of the water. It has higher top speed, it out accelerates, it brakes harder (I have EBC pro-lite rotors and HH sintered pads on the CBR250... maybe that helps), and it handles better. It is a terrible shame that Honda stopped making bikes with that 4 cylinder motor.

That doesn't mean that I don't love the Ninja 250R. I enjoy riding it just as much but it doesn't quite give me that hooligan grin on my face when I ride it.

And yes, that was a bike auction. I go every year. Never bought a bike though. Its fun just to look through them all.

Yes, it is the silver scooter from the first picture. It's Aprilia Leonardo. The rider is 16 years old , and it is incredibly skilled. Just bought CBR and made it for stunt.

tin, to answer your question, yes they are illegal. they would probably not pull him over for it, but if for some reason he gets pulled over for another reason, then they may ticket him for the tinted headlights and HIDs at that time as well.

Yes, the Army has a small post on Okinawa. One of my buddies while in the Army was also an Army brat. His dad had been stationed on Okinawa while he was a kid. He showed me lots of pics of the island from when he lived there.

So there ya go, the movie Karate Kid 2 wasn't making it up when they showed an Army post near Mr. Miyagi's home village on Okinawa.

I believe it has to do with Japan trying to reinforce the idea that Okinawa is still under Japanese control. To my knowledge they are still trying to get their independence from Japan and of course the Japanese government does not like letting go. I could be wrong of course, but that's my guess.
