won't that make the pegs slippery when they are wet?
Verus Cidere May 10th, 2009, 11:00 PM From what I can tell, those are special aftermarket pegs that have rough areas all around them, almost like the spiky end of velcro that hooks into anything that has a space. :D
TnNinjaGirl May 11th, 2009, 06:10 AM That is blue. What temp do they bake your parts that spin in? I'd be afraid they might warp.

I heard a rummor (meaning I don't know if it is true or not) that coated wheels have a tendency to chip. Do you know if that's a fact?

I need to power coat my stang wheels.
I purchased them on ebay and after a yr they are starting to peel.
could you give me an estamate of what shops usually charge for 4 wheels.
the front wheels are 17x9 and the rear are 17x10.5.
thanks,
tin
p.s. forgot to mention they are deep dish.

how much are you lowered, and how does it turn?

I used SOUPY'S Front & Rear Full lowering Kit..
Its about 1'' in front and about 2'' in Rear..
Little Rougher Ride but not bad.. I will have to raise the rear back up 1/2'' or so so Rear tire Doesnt hit inner fender on Big bumps ...
Buffalony June 4th, 2009, 12:16 PM http://www.g2usa.com/
At $50 its kind of costly but seems worth it if your doing four car calipers. You could probably do 2 or 3 bikes with one kit. They color match for $99!!
I'd buy this kit if I had another ninjette rider in the area interested in splitting the cost an hanging out for the day
unowned June 4th, 2009, 12:31 PM How long does powder coating on rims generally last for?
Tims250R June 4th, 2009, 01:44 PM How long does powder coating on rims generally last for?
