I'm looking into doing a 300 engine swap into my 2007, and I'm curious if the spigots on the head are the right size for the older engines carburetor boots. :D

I figure I can't be the only lunatic would think that way, anyone tried it?

It's been done. Search around the pregen tech section.

I can think of two people that have as chone^^^ has said.
The boots fit fine. The inside diameter of the bore on the 300 are larger than the 250's.

Not having to hack up the pre-gen wiring harness and make room for fuel pumps and ecu's...

That and carburetors work unless they are gummed up or worn out. :D
