The Street Triple R gets an X added to its name. Fabulous!

Triumph (http://www.fasterandfaster.net/search/label/Triumph) have a new special edition version of the Street Triple R - the Street Triple RX - which gets matt-aluminium silver paint, red wheels, seat cowl, belly pan and fly screen as standard. The bike's 675cc three-cylinder engine produces 105 horsepower and 68Nm of torque, suspension is fully adjustable KYB 41mm forks and fully adjustable monoshock, and the Nissin brakes feature 4-piston radial-mount calipers at the front, with ABS.

"Combined with a slick, close-ratio six-speed gearbox, Triumph’s (http://www.fasterandfaster.net/search/label/Triumph) quickshifter, and flawless throttle control, the powerplant delivers an exhilarating ride. All accompanied by a soulful, characteristic growling exhaust note, one of the most distinctive and charismatic sounds in motorcycling," says a press note, exalting the virtues of the Street Triple RX. Equipment levels on this bike are high, it tells us - there's an engine immobilizer, comprehensive LCD digital instrumentation that includes a built-in lap timer, programmable gear shift lights, fuel gauge, clock and gear position indicator, a large, clear tachometer and digital speedo. The clocks can also display front and rear tyre pressures when the optional Triumph tyre pressure monitoring system is fitted.

The 2015 Triumph (http://www.fasterandfaster.net/search/label/Triumph) Street Triple Rx comes with an unlimited mileage, two-year factory warranty. Service intervals are every 6,000 miles or one year, whichever is soonest. Not too bad, we think. Those looking for a middleweight supersports machine should definitely check this one out.
