It is quite simple three colors to choose from silver, black, and titanium. You guys have Until the June 6th to preorder and pay this ridiculous price for fully adjustable cnc machined rearsets. You need to Paypal me at mtg_38@yahoo.com and specify the color choice after we have the final design choosen. Oh Ya and the Best of All. These bad boys will be $105.00 Shipped and that is not a typo This is the best deal on the market that you don't want to miss out. After the 6th they will go up in price. They will be here in late July but are worth the $200 savings over the non adjustable Wood crafts or the $250 thailand pieces. I aim to offer the best deals on products in the US markets and this deal is to show the love to all the 250 members who have waited far to long for decently priced products. Please add names to the list. You can opt out at anytime up to the purchase date.

May 19th, 2009, 05:24 PM
damn, that's a steal. I wish I had more money....

EDIT: After looking more closely at the pictures I wanted to ask if you have to buy a pressure sensor to make these work with the brake light. Something like this is what I mean: http://www.woodcraft-cfm.com/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=17452

why must you make me want to spend more money!!! argh, the temptation...

ztrack157
May 19th, 2009, 07:30 PM
Because you know you want it. Look at it this way its your chance to buy stuff you could only dream of before and buy it at the same time rather then 6 months apart.

Those pressure switchs are on our bikes to begin with. Wood craft just makes a longer wired one. The stock one should suffice I would test and see what position it works best in and then file a small notch in the pedal to make it stay in place.

mike_sema
May 19th, 2009, 07:39 PM
hey ztrack you need an online store :D

ztrack157
May 19th, 2009, 07:41 PM
I know but without stocks I can't really justify it just yet

alright, cool. I'm pretty good with modifying stuff myself. It's just difficult for me to see what I have to work with simply from pictures. And to add to that I've never actually looked very closely at how the system works on the bike right now.
I know that eventually I'll be getting some rearsets, so I might as well take the plunge now when it's cheap. But it's going to take me a few extra days to scrounge up the money, lol.

Theres also a power adder called a TIS which is programable. Bumps the rev limit to 14500rpm which is with in the stock limits. Better acceleration and more top end speed. Real power gains achieveable by further tuning it and high octane is used. Comes preloaded with two maps not sure which tough. Brams Bike has gone 200KPH or 124 mph but has a port and polish done without the port its still looking at faster than the worlds supposedly fastest 250. I thought it was an FI thing but it replaces the cdi and is for carbed bikes.

They're going to end up more like this. Pre buy will be to add your name to the following list. When final design is selected then you can actually pre buy.

May 22nd, 2009, 09:08 PM
No heel guard?

ztrack157
May 22nd, 2009, 10:22 PM
Its not the final design. I will be certain there is a guard or else I will not sell them. I would not want to nor am I willing to jepordize a life for a whooping $2 cost for an additional part.

ok...i might be stupid..but i havent been into bike customizing really....what do these do for you that the stock ones dont?

00v_Lucky
May 23rd, 2009, 10:51 AM
do you think rearsets would work without getting clip-ons? Because I think the body positioning would be kind of odd.

ztrack157
May 23rd, 2009, 01:56 PM
Ok centexninja. After looking closely at the newer style pics I have posted you have to be a midget and try to jam the old foot in there. Tintkng These are to move the sets around to better accomodate you on the bike. Lucky you don't need to have the clipons for these although if you want both eventually, I would do it all at once and be done with it this way you can adjust it once and be happy with it.

In on this depending on the final product. Will these work with the rear brake light?

ztrack157
May 25th, 2009, 10:23 AM
You'll have to modiy the rear switch to work. It takes a little tinkering I had to do the same thing with my cheap ass rearsets.

centexninja
May 27th, 2009, 05:34 PM
were just waiting for the final product images correct?

Are you talking about your track bikes? The Woodcraft is a pressure switch that replaces the banjo bolt at the top of the master cylinder. At this point, I find it strange that anything marketed primarily for a street crowd would NOT incorporate provisions for the stock switch and stock spring set without modification, and some sort of pedal return spring, or include the pressure switch banjo bolt as part of the package. I mean, I understand the market for track bikes not needing a brake switch and it coming seperately, but this ain't that market, and a hole and another bracket can't be all that hard to make correctly. You've spent the time to get the thing right as far as the master cylinder and heel guards, why not go all the way and have the best product available that needs NO tinkering?

If you can bring this to market and it doesn't have the dreaded CDI burp in the 7500-9000 range, it will be a license to print money. I'll take two!

ztrack157
June 3rd, 2009, 06:07 PM
I know the rear sets need a few things to be absolutely amazing. But these are intended to be for the thrifty crowd. My Cheap ass rearsets were $250 shipped and made none of the provisions you listed above. These are $150 cheaper. I will look into make a provision for the brake light switch but not much more will be done. I have had no problems with my rearsets not having a return spring. These rearsets wont have a problem either. The TIS is sexy and the burp is common with our engines sure you can retard timing around that range and smoothen it out but it will not disappear completely.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mlqDNLG-b4&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fvideo%2Egoogle%2Ecom%2Fvideosearch%3Fhl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26rl z%3D1T4ADBS%5FenUS253US253%26q%3D2008%2520Ninja%2520250%2520Cheetah%2520CDI%26um %3D1%26ie%3DUTF%2D8%26s&feature=player_embedded

this is the Cheetah CDI which doesn't have the rev limiter the TIS has an adjustable one and comes preprogrammed with two maps. It also comes with a programmer.

June 5th, 2009, 04:06 PM
Know how much more weight these things can take? :) Not sure why I'm asking, I guess just for curiosity hell I only weigh 155 :) I was planning on getting WoodCraft but these are a lot more affordable and I would look into ordering right now if you know, it isn't one of those "you get what you pay for" things. I want to be sure the quality is just as good you know what I mean?

ztrack157
June 5th, 2009, 04:18 PM
Yes I know what you mean. I'll tell you what buy a set and I will jump up and down on them till the cows come home on my bike. If they break I will give you the rearsets off my bike which were about triple the cost of the ones I'm selling and there brand new less than a mile on them. Only cause my bike has been torn apart for months. I weigh 220 so I think I'm a good tester.

ztrack157
June 9th, 2009, 05:44 PM
Silver and dark titanium which is close to being black but not quite are the color options just so everyone knows.

Ohh Snap
June 11th, 2009, 09:50 PM
is it a direct bolt on? any modifications required?

ztrack157
June 11th, 2009, 10:42 PM
Only mod needed is the brake light switch needs to be jerry rigged to work. :) it bolts up to an adjustment plate so you can move it up or down.

ztrack157
June 11th, 2009, 10:48 PM
Otherwise I recommend the woodcraft switch which sells for $17. Then there is no second guessing and no jerry rigging required.

June 12th, 2009, 06:42 PM
is it just me or does that titanium rearset have a yoshi badge and engraving on it??

ztrack157
June 12th, 2009, 06:52 PM
Absolutely not!;) you are just seeing things. lol. They're made in Thailand and are not affiliated with yoshi. Although it does say it on them. They are originally made for a CBR 150. And the adjuster plate is made so they bolt up and work on the 250R without issue.

ztrack157

No justin this was a special deal where people could by it if they were willing to wait and save about $25, do to the interest level I may not be carrying these in the future. There wasn't very many who wanted them even though after shipping is taken out of the sale price I'm only making a couple ($5 total) bucks.
