View Full Version : Removed my Fender this weekend.

I removed the fender this weekend. It looks really good. I ordered some Plate Bolts with LEDs to light the plate and expect them to be delivered and installed by the end of the week. Here are some pics.

Very nice, looks really clean. Like how you added them reflectors - but how? :D

The reflectors are the stock ones that were on the plate mounting bracket. I simply removed the reflectors and then reattached them to the mounting bracket upside down to give clearance for the turn signals.

I chopped the fender and used two L brackets from Home Depot to mount the plate. I connected them to the bolts that hold the rear light housing underneath the plate on the bottom. I had to grind/trim the L brackets on the bike side to make them fit.
