lavid2002 May 26th, 2009, 08:53 PM I notice some cars have dim yellow lights...while some cars like my moms infiniti, and some ricer hondas have super bright white or even kinda blue-ish lights. I want to buy a kisan headlight modulator and I want the best bulbs for it....Can anyone help me find
*What kisan modulator to buy
and

miks May 26th, 2009, 09:21 PM I think you're talking about HIDs. Check out this thread for info.

lavid2002 May 27th, 2009, 06:20 AM yep tank you!
lavid2002 May 27th, 2009, 06:21 AM but can I legally have these bulbs with a HL modulator?
Verus Cidere May 29th, 2009, 11:28 PM Does anybody have any links on HIDs for pregens?
hzrnbgy May 30th, 2009, 12:25 AM any HID kit that matches the size of your stock bulb will work. the new-gen bulbs are H7 so im assuming the pre-gens has H7 too.
just look for the 35W and slim ballast models so their easier to mount.

pregens do not have h7 bulbs.
bogdanb May 30th, 2009, 11:04 AM I would like to use the thread to ask a similar question...
What is your opinion about these bulbs

They are very popular in Bulgaria ( 'cause xenon system is expensive ) and some of these model have a real xenon effect 4000K , 6000K or 8000K.
P.S. As far as I understand you call HID - what I tried to describe as xenon system. :)
hzrnbgy May 30th, 2009, 11:13 AM they are not real HID system as they uses the same filament design as standard bulbs. but if youre just looking for HID effect lighting, they're good enough for my book.
go check out ebay more, i had mine for like $50 (2xHID, ballasts and wiring harnesses). just have to pay extra for shipping

Yes , precisely! I even found cheap staff from Hong Kong , approx 2-3 USD.
hzrnbgy May 30th, 2009, 11:39 AM those are just bulbs. you gotta buy the kit (HID bulbs + ballasts + wiring harness)

I mean buying just a bulbs with xenon effect.
Verus Cidere May 30th, 2009, 02:27 PM Kelly's right. Our bulbs are different. As I understand it, a pregen's headlight has a single bulb that has two filaments, one for low beams and one for high. Do they make HIDs like that? I will definitely look up the type of bulb though. Just thought you guys might already know where to find them. What can I say? I'm lazy. :D
burns556 June 3rd, 2009, 09:56 PM the bulb type forpre gens are h4's not the h7 hope that helps
Verus Cidere June 4th, 2009, 12:08 AM It does. Thanks. Oh, and welcome to the forum Chris! :D
Neema12 June 25th, 2009, 02:11 PM Any luck? Do you have any updates on your project lavid2002? Down the road I would consider HID's as well if they were affordable and confirmed to fit my bike.
Verus Cidere June 26th, 2009, 12:03 AM I totally forgot to check into this! I'll have to do that, but not tonight! I need sleep.
