View Full Version : As Freddie Mercury said,Get on your bikes, and ride.
Ghostt February 4th, 2015, 04:21 PM Here in the Bluegrass it got up to the mid 50s. So did some small things on the bike, and then went on a 160 mile ride, my excuse was I had to make sure the battery was charged, and clean the rust of the exhaust valves LOL.
Both of which I accomplished.
So who else got out today?

It's an old saying from my drag racing days LOL
alex.s February 4th, 2015, 04:42 PM did old exhaust valves have lower chromium content back in that millennium?
Ghostt February 4th, 2015, 04:46 PM I don't know, but why take any chances LOL
Brother Michigan February 4th, 2015, 05:13 PM I'm home in Georgia today and I'm driving back to Lexington tomorrow... right after it snows some more, of course. I haven't been home for a day over 40 in more than a month.

Well if your ever out riding in my neck of woods, let me know, lots of nice back roads around here.
shereth February 5th, 2015, 07:29 AM The notion of putting the bike away for the winter is a foreign concept here. Anyone who complains that it's too cold to ride in January (and there are some) should have their licenses revoked, imho ...

Looks like my back yard too. Including the huge icicles. Had to knock some down so we didn't get impaled if they fell.
greenaero February 5th, 2015, 12:25 PM I rode to Berkeley and back to work on my mom's house. It foggy and traffic was terrible in the morning but it was beautiful on the ride home. I split through a ton of traffic both ways and was suprised to only see 2 other motos slicing through the 580 congestion. A good day! Queen rocks!
