LEON Haslam claimed his first victory since Kyalami in 2010, snatcing away Jonathan Rea's chance of doing the double at the first 2015 WSBK round, with Chaz Davies finishing third after an explosive last lap.

In the early stages of race two, nine riders fought it out at the front of the field, but it was Kawasaki rider Rea who took the lead - until a move by reigning World Supersport champion Michael van der Mark at the start of lap seven

Van der Mark then crashed out of fourth at the end of lap 19. Rookie Jordi Torres had fallen a lap earlier after losing the front of his Aprilia at turn one. Both riders were unhurt.

The final lap decided the outcome of the race once again, with Haslam, Rea and Davies fighting it out at the front. Behind the top three it was Kawasaki Racing's Tom Sykes and Sylvain Guintoli for Pata Honda WSBK who completed the top five.

Nico Terol finished a lonely sixth, with Randy de Puniet, Leon Camier, Matteo Baiocco and Roman Ramos rounding out the top 10.

Once again, Troy Bayliss started well for the Aruba.it Ducati team and made it as high as seventh, but the triple former champion entered the pits to change the front tyre on lap 14, pushing him down to 16th and outside the points.

Voltcom Crescent Suzuki's Alex Lowes also retired to the pits at the end of lap two.
