I currently have Battlax BT-45s and I'm looking for a better compromise as to grip during canyon riding while still having tread life. I commute about 200 miles a week but ride canyons almost every weekend. I've heard that they are similar to BT-003s but are more oriented for all around street riding.

Here's a review on the S-20s. (http://www.visordown.com/product-features/bridgestone-battlax-s20-evo-tyre-review/24922.html)

This is the thread about Michelin Pilot Streets (https://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=181591)

Just curious if anyone has used the S-20s or the S-20 Evos.

I've ran the s20s and they are grippy at the price of longevity. I got more mileage out of the BT-16s. Now with the EVOs I think 22% longer life is a big claim to say but I have no experience with them. I think I got something like 7k-7.2k out of my S20s. I would get them if they're on sale but if not, I would have my eyes set on Michelin Pilot Streets.

Another thread on the S20's here:

Nothing wrong with them, but all reviews still seem to point to the Pilot Streets as the current top choice for a sporty 250/300 tire with very good tire life.

Agree on the michelins 1000000%, great tire with excellent longevity, i cannot compare them to the tires your wanting to try but i highly doubt they would beat out the michelins.
