What are the differences if any between a 2005 DRZ400SM -> to a 2015?

Has the bike changed at all aside from color schemes?

Reason I'm asking, I'm still looking for a bike and there are tons of DRZ's out there with varying years/mods/prices.

I'm not sure I want to pay full price for a new stock 2015 (which is about $7,600 not including tax + etc.)

* Side note,
Whats up with the 2016 DRZ400SM, anyone heard any news? I wonder if it will look different or have electronic fuel injection.

Start with an older used model to make sure you'll even dig it. Parts galore everywhere for them, they're one of the longest standing and most popular U.S. production model supermotos. They haven't really changed much at all over the years. Fuel injection may have been introduced at some point, but not sure about that though.
Good, cheap way to get into a sumo. And likely wouldn't have much trouble selling if you find you dont like it.
If you see one you like, post up the link and surely some of us here can help advise you whether its a good deal or not.
Or, we could help you search. What's your budget, color pref, mods wanted?
