The AMA offers its condolences to the family and friends of Steve Barber, who passed away last night following a long illness.
Mr. Barber, a longtime member of the Enduro Riders Association in McArthur, Ohio, and the club president at the time of his death, ran one of the oldest -- and still one of the best -- dual sport rides in the country, the Baby Burr (http://www.americanmotorcyclist.com/blog/12-10-02/Baby_Burr_Dual-sport_ecstasy_in_Southern_Ohio.aspx).
An AMA Life Member, Mr. Barber was a tireless, dedicated and lifelong supporter (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9ywtQT1qjo) of off-road racing, dual-sport riding and motorcycling in general. His contributions to the sport, his club and his community will be truly missed.
