I met Scorpion Ninja/Dave for a small ride today, and a bite to eat. We started Pm-ing each other last week here on Ninjette. Sadly its hard to find good twisties in Michigan, but we followed this route and had a couple miles of good turns. ...just 50 miles, and a little over 1 1/2 hours minus the stop for food.

Since none of my friends have yet to cave in and get a bike...even the one that took MSF with me...thanks Ninjette for hooking me up with someone to ride with. :)

We are looking at doing a longer run next week sometime, and more riders from the area! PM us and we'll get together.

Hi, Rage & Scorpion. Glad you guys could get together for a ride!

Anyway, I have found a few decent twisties here in SE Michigan.
One of my favorites is right near where you were riding. Try Orion Road. It starts from Rochester Road (just north of Papa Joe's Gourmet Market on Tienken Rd) and runs thru Lake Orion. Always lots of bikes riding out there!
Also, the Irish Hills area on US 12 out by Michigan Int'l Speedway to Cement City...
Or along the Detroit river up Hwy 29 thru Algonac to Port Huron...

Maybe we could set up a Mini SE Michigan Ninjette Rally out at Rosie O'Grady's in Chesterfield sometime this summer. They have a sport bike night on Tuesdays with some decent stunt riders :crazyloco:

We were planning on trying Orion Road, but we missed it. Maybe I'll check out Orion Road today. :) I took M-29 from Chesterfield to Marine city one day before turning back. That can be a long ride, would be better with other riders!

I found some on Harvey Lake road out toward Holly is a really good ride, I plan on leading out there next week. Only a couple miles of real twisties, but the speed limit is 50, and you can't go wrong riding north and getting out of the cities.

Scorps been to a couple bike nights, I've yet to get out to them...

Yea, i was over at my uncles today (dropping off my camping stuff in my Car) and he told me Orion Rd is pretty NICE for riding. for the bike nights in our area... i posted on that over thread, but im eger to check out Angry Bulls bike night on Weds, in Kimball Mi. (wadahams rd/ lapeer rd.) near I-96 and port huron!

I get back late Sun nite july 12th. So Matt, if you wanna come out this coming Tues. for Rosie O gradys, ill met you up there! and we can go up to Angry Bulls, Wednite n check it out! :)

Well im off to bed, leaving to go camping with the Family in the morning. Only 2 ppl have seen my bike, my other aunts and uncles are gonna FLIP to see i really got it! :)
