I originally posted this in the Tech section, but afterwards thought it made more sense to be in here.:)
I finally got my Hindle pipe today. (ordered 5 weeks ago) It's a little louder than I thought it would be, but it sounds good!:D
I put another shim under the needles. I had 2 in it and since installing the pipe, it acted like it was a touch lean. Haven't had a chance to ride it since adding the extra shims.
Very nice build quality. 16" Carbon Fiber Stealth muffler and slip-on adapter.

That is a sweet exhaust system. The carbon fiber realy matches your bike.

Looks gorgeous. How hard was the install?

Thanks everyone! :D
Installation was very simple. Took about 20 minutes. Well, not including loosening it a couple of times and moving it a little to make sure the tip is striaght. ;) After I put that 3rd shim in, it really woke the bike up. It pulls a lot harder now.

I have to say I really like your bike also... almost makes me wish I went with Black but I really like Red.

My question is: why did you choose this exhuast over... Yoshi, 2 Bros... etc?

Also, the fender elim kit.. how was that to install?

I plan to get a cowl, fender elim kit, same red stripes and exhaust... your bike is a perfect example of what I'm after (but in Black lol)

I chose the Hindle mainly because of the sound and look. But also because it's not what everyone else has! :D
The fender eliminator I did myself. I drilled the rivets out of the metal bracket that's inside the stock fender (the piece with the metal hooks attatched to it behind the plastic) and used that as my turn signal mount. Then I made a license plate bracket out the stock reflector bracket by cutting off the reflector tabs on the ends. Then made an "L" bracket to mount that to out of 3/16" aluminum. I cut the plastic fender off flush with a cut-off wheel on a die grinder and then used a sanding roll to smooth out the cut. Took a couple of hours to do it. I've got about $3.00 in fasteners for the whole project. Beats the hell out of $90 for a "kit" that still requires you to cut off the fender. I just used what was already there. Here's some close-up pics...

thx for those pics! I did mine similar, but was in a hury the day I did it and so it's not as clean. I also left the plastic on the sides of where the turn signals are mounted, but I like your look, it's much cleaner.
