As part of Alpinestars’ City Collection, the C-20 Drystar Glove is their newest all-weather ride-everywhere glove. Waterproof, breathable, and thermally lined with Thinsuate, the leather-palmed C-20 includes a velcro-closed gauntlet and wrist cinch to keep the weather out. Ergonomically precut and curved to easily fit the rider, 4mm of EVA foam padding on the top of the hands and fingers provide a little more wind and knock protection. Leather accordion stretch inserts on the fingers allow for a freer movement when reaching for the levers, or the cellphone. Thanks to a touch-screen-compatible fingertip, looking for a warmer destination to ride is much more easily done in the C-20 glove. Available in 6 sizes, S to 3XL, the C-20 retails for $119.95.

If the ride stays local, but the winds are still blowing, perhaps the short-cuff city-minded C-1 Windstopper Glove is right for you. Slightly more aggressive, lighter, windproof, water-resistant and featuring a short knitted cuff, the C-1 is the right choice for the road.

The Gore-Tex main shell, with over-molded hard knuckle, and a full-grain reinforced leather palm offer excellent abrasion and impact resistance. Also touch-screen capable, you’ll be able to easily communicate with your other Alpinestars-equipped ride mates via smartphone when not riding together. This easy-going city glove is available in 6 sizes from S to 3XL and retails for $89.95.

The C-1 Windstopper Glove is also available in the women’s Stella line, and offering the same build and protection quality in a product that was specifically designed, cut and fit to the female form. It is also available in six sizes from S to 3XL and retails for $89.95.

Below the belt, technically starting at the beltline, the Alpinestars City Collection introduces three new over-the-boot denim pieces for men and two new inner-boot designs for the ladies.

The regular/comfort fit 13-ounce men’s Riffs Denim pant is ergonomically curved for the ride, includes adjustable CE-certified knee protection, accordion stretch inserts on the knee and seat area and DuPont Kevlar reinforcement in the seat, hip and knee areas. Removable 5mm hip pads offer further damage control and a welcomed thigh zipper allows for air intake and heat management (available only on the Riffs). The traditional 5-pocket design opens the lineup and is available in sizes 28-40 and retails for $299.95.

The Crank Denim pant includes all the same features of the Riffs but in a tapered fit and more technically-styled design. The inclusion of an interior aramid reinforcement layer to the pre-shaped legs offers greater abrasion resistance. They’re available in two colorways, sizes 28-40, and retail for $249.95.

Lastly, the Copper Denim pant is a regular/straight cut jean available in three colors and sizes 28-40, retailing for $229.95.

For the lady riders out there, Alpinestars took the same key features of their mens denim collection, like the internal knee compartment and adjustable CE-certified knee protection for various leg lengths and interior DuPont Kevlar-lined seat, hips and knees, and then threw away the moulds. All Alpinestars women’s products are designed, cut, and finished to fit a woman’s body, not scaled down versions of a man’s product with a pink sticker on them.
