I just got finished testing the analog temp gauge I installed on my lil 250. Works great.
I used a FAZE electric water/oil temp gauge part # 883203 Bought it on ebay for $15.
The gauge comes with almost everything you need to install it.
Only things that you will need to provide is more wire a few ring terminals and about 2 hours of your time.
The proper fitting temp sensor is included with the gauge.
2 minor things that you might not like.
1) The gauge is white with a white face, but the night illumination is almost the same color blue that the numbers are on the factory stuff.
2) The needle jumps a bit on large pavement imperfection but settles back down quickly.
Other than that its a smokin deal.
There I hauled my whole desktop to the garage for this crappy web-cam pic
