I've been noticing that most of the top motorcycle racers are sporting rather long sideburns lately. I think there must be some correlation between long sculpted sideburns and being fast on a motorcycle so I'm growing mine nice and long ( I wanna go fast).

We need to do a study and have all of us guys (and mediterranean girls) grow them burns long and cool and see if we ride any better.

The challenge is on.

I'm a few days too late; just shaved much of the beard and only have a wussy goatee at this point. But I'm still slow either way. :)

wow... I'm impressed! you guys are old enough to grow facial hair! I'd like to be able to have some when I grow up. :)

I am faster than he is, though, only because he has (well, Annie does) a red bike and no matter how fast he can ride, that color bike will always be the slowest.

I will try and grow mine out but since I got a blue bike i'll color my sideburns green and see if I can be faster than any green bike, specially kelly's.

just got rid of mine the little ones i had. bike does seem slower. now is it the lack of hair or the re gearing:confused::rolleyes:

Im not sure about the sideburns, but im sure if I shave my goatee i will be faster. I can feel the aero drag from the bottom of my helmet.

i can't grow side burns. i have the mustache/chin beard combo, and tried to do the full facial beard thing but i get patches here and there...nothing that ever fully fills in.

Not sure why you said no ladies allowed. Obviously that was meant as a direct challenge to the women of the board. Since that is the case, I will be taking part in this study. I hereby declare I will stop shaving my sideburns off and let them fill in nicely. I'll be back with the results.

A few of my mates don't have the ability to grow sideburns so they grow their hair from the sides of the head and shape it to look like a sideburn. Looks bloody weird to me.

I on the other hand, do have sideburns but I like to keep it nice and neat.
