I ride 2up frequently and thus have the need to carry a second helmet with me at times. This wasn't a problem on a scooter (who's storage I miss) but I have no idea how to solve this problem being that this is my first motorcycle. I've seen people bungee cord the thing to the passenger's part of the seat but I wonder how secure that is, and where do I put the bungee cords when I'm actually carrying said passenger?

Any suggestions?

Cargo net on the foldout hooks. You can add a couple of 6mm diameter bolts into the cast-in threaded holes (they might actually be tapped) on the underside of the rear metal handle to hook the cargo net on, too.

I just did it today for my sons helmet. Sat it on passenger seat and held down with the net

Personally, I get the drawstring bag that probably came with at least one of your helmets and put it in that, then sling it over my shoulder. Just don't wreck. I've also carried it by threading my arm through the facehole and letting it sit on my elbow. It's cut off the circulation to my arm before, too. I don't recommend it. And, finally, when I go to school I use a carabiner to strap it to my bag so I don't have to carry it, but idk about that at higher speeds.

They make back packs with built in helmet carrying pouches.

Sometimes when I'm meeting a girl that wants to go for a ride, I need to bring gear, or at least helmet, jacket and gloves. I have an Icon MIL Spec Squad backpack, which has the storage and a place for the helmet.

But I have used the net, with the tiedowns many times.

I'm like a Pro Mtb racer with no sponsors :lol: I do a ton of racing and traveling so to afford the cost I basically cut fuel cost and hotels out of the equation. I've done at least 40,000 miles with that setup and 80,000 total in the ninja. And yeah I can still haul ass in the canyons with the Mtb on the rear.
