The exhaust is lighter than stock and will add a HP increase, although minimal. Most importantly, it will make your 250 sound COOLER! As I recall, they stopped making these for the pregens and only offered the dual slipons, is this a leftover or did they start offering them again?

The story behind the exhaust: I just purchased a 02' Ninja 250 on June 12th from a local ad. The owner let the bike sit almost 4 years without running, so it was an 02' Ninja with 286 miles. Included in the sale was this exhaust which was brand new from the Yoshimura factory. It had been purchased when he bought the bike in 04' (I think it was 04', I may be 1 year off) and sat in the wrapper for all the time.

I planned on putting the exhaust on my bike but decided to wait until I pay off my registration up to date and pay my small dmv debt off 100% before I can afford luxuries. The late registration due on my bike is around ~$475 so I was hoping this exhaust could fix it :)
