THE Eicma bike show kicked off this week and it's brought us a monumental amount of new bikes to salivate over.
Every major manufacturer in the world has pitched up in Milan with their latest, greatest metal and we've witnessed a brace of new bikes being unveiled, introduced, revealed, announced, made public and proclaimed to the world. From updates to existing models, to concepts and completely brand-spanking new bikes, Eicma's had the lot.
We've been getting information on every new bike and reporting from there since the pre-show presentations on Monday, so for this week's top 10, we've picked the most-read new bike stories from Eicma.

10. Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro (http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news-new-bikes/ducati-reveals-new-multistrada-1200-enduro/28479.html)
Ducati manages to crop up three times in this list, but considering it unveiled nine new models at Eicma, that's not too surprising.

Husqvarna provided a big afternoon pick me up by waiting until 3pm on the first day of Eicma to pull the cover off its beautiful Vitpilen 701 concept (http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news-new-bikes/husqvarna-introduces-its-vitpilen-701-concept-at-eicma/28466.html).
It seemed to work well - the Vitpilen has received loads of positive comments and lots of people asking when it's going to go into production.

8. Suzuki SV650 (http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news-new-bikes/new-suzuki-sv650/28464.html)
The SV650 (http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news-new-bikes/new-suzuki-sv650/28464.html) has always been a hugely popular middleweight - there was over 10,000 of them taxed, insured and on UK roads in second quarter of 2015, so it of course there's a lot of interest in this new-for-2016 SV.

7. Ducati XDiavel (http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news-new-bikes/ducati-introduces-the-xdiavel-in-milan/28480.html)
When Ducati's press event began, we knew it had a feet-forward cruiser waiting in the wings, and it's turned out to be the new XDiavel (http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news-new-bikes/ducati-introduces-the-xdiavel-in-milan/28480.html).

6. Triumph Tiger Explorer (http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news-new-bikes/2016-triumph-tiger-explorer-debuts/28470.html)
Triumph used Eicma to introduce its new Tiger Explorer (http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news-new-bikes/2016-triumph-tiger-explorer-debuts/28470.html), which will be available in six different versions and feature semi-active suspension, depending on spec.

5. KTM 1290 Super Duke GT (http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news-new-bikes/ktm-officially-unveils-1290-super-duke-gt/28450.html)
KTM used Eicma to officially introduce its much anticipated Super Duke-based tourer, the 1290 Super Duke GT (http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news-new-bikes/ktm-officially-unveils-1290-super-duke-gt/28450.html), which according to the spec sheet and KTM's marketing, looks set to be a proper long range weapon.

4. Yamaha XSR900 (http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news-new-bikes/yamaha-introduces-the-xsr900/28490.html)
Based on the MT-09, the XSR900 (http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news-new-bikes/yamaha-introduces-the-xsr900/28490.html) is the next stage of Yamaha's Faster Sons project.
It relates to the MT-09 (http://www.visordown.com/road-tests-first-rides/first-ride-yamaha-mt-09-review/23372.html) the same way the XSR700 (http://www.visordown.com/road-tests-first-rides/first-ride-yamaha-xsr700-review/28367.html) relates to the MT-07 (http://www.visordown.com/road-tests-first-rides/first-ride-yamaha-mt-07-review/24494.html), and gets takes some of its stylish retro flavour from from a recent Roland Sands custom build.

3. Ducati 959 Panigale (http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news-new-bikes/ducati-officially-introduces-the-new-panigale-959/28478.html)
A new Panigale is always going to be popular, hence the 959's third place in this list.
It would be number one if we were listing most controversial exhaust designs spotted at Eicma - some people love it the new shotgun exhaust, while other aren't so keen.

Surprise! During the Yamaha presentation we had our fingers and toes crossed as we whispered 'Please, please, please let it be a naked R1' before every bike came on stage.
Yamaha didn't let us down. With its intriguing, hyper-moden looks and the engine from the 2015 R1 (http://www.visordown.com/road-tests-first-rides/first-ride-yamaha-r1-and-r1m-review/26346.html), the MT-10 (http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news-new-bikes/new-yamaha-mt-10-unveiled/28487.html) is undoubtedly one of the stars of the show.

Suzuki says it's a prototype at the moment, but we believe it's going to be launched next year.
