As the title states I grabbed a 2013 Ninja 300 SE today for a great price off our local Craigslist. It came with a Two Brothers Juice Box,Yoshimura fender eliminator kit,K&N air filter and 7089 miles on the odometer.I usually look for a bit lower mileage bikes but the price was too good to pass up.Looking forward to being part of the forum again.

That is about what mileage I grabbed my 2013 SE for! Enjoy it, what a great looking ride!

Awesome! Did they evolve over time? Or pretty much stayed the same?

Nice! I don't think I've seen one in blue before.

Did you buy the others to fix or sell?

Basically just bought the other ones off Craigslist cheap in the fall/winter and resold for a large profit.Traded in my 2014 Honda CRF250l for full retail value and with the Kawasaki discount paid very little out of pocket for this one.

Do you know if there is a fix for the fairings gap issue? I'm thinking of getting a 2013 300 SE.

Hi and Welcome!

I bought a complete fairing set thinking I may have defective set from factory. Nope, gap still exists. Measured mounting points and they varied around 3-5mm between my street bike and race bike. Figured some are more prone to gaps than others depending upon how off the mounting-holes are. So, I used two different techniques to close up fairing gaps:

1. slotted some holes in fairings to allow one side to push closer before tightening bolts
2. use 3M Fastak Super Weatherstripping adhesive to glue them together (follow instructions on box).

Hey Danno - do you know if the dealer found a fix for this issue, or does it still plague many owners?

I doubt there's official fix as I haven't heard of any replacement bodywork that fits perfectly. Some of aftermarket bodywork actually fits better than factory, but that's hit and miss also. I suspect if you bring in to dealer, they'll do same thing I did. Slot some holes and move edges closer together.
