Honda's 'City Adventure' concept at Eicma 2015
HONDA’S ‘City Adventure’ concept (http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news-new-bikes/honda-shows-new-city-adventure-concept-at-eicma/28493.html) is destined for production, according to a French motorcycle website.
According to Motoblouz.com (http://www.moto-net.com/actualites-motos-B10627-Nouveaut%C3%A9s-2016-Le-concept-Honda-City-Adventure-Com-est-attendu-pour-2017.html), sources say the adventure scooter will be available from 2017.
The site quotes the head of Honda’s motorcycle division in France, Fabrice Recoque, as saying the NC750-based scooter is a ‘very advanced product’.
Recoque reportedly told the site: ‘Remember the True Adventure concept unveiled last year at Milan… it foreshadowed the Africa Twin,’ adding, ‘It is our role as manufacturer to innovate, to surprise and create dreams, because it is the product that creates the market.’
The City Adventure concept is based on the same platform as the NC750 range, including the NC750X (http://www.visordown.com/road-tests-first-rides/first-ride-honda-nc750x-review/24458.html) and Integra (http://www.visordown.com/road-tests-first-rides/first-ride-2014-honda-integra-750-review/24475.html), using a 745cc parallel-twin 52hp engine and available with Honda’s automatic Dual Clutch Transmission, as featured on the new Africa Twin (http://www.visordown.com/road-tests-first-rides/first-ride-honda-africa-twin-crf1000l-review/30565.html).
