so what is she? Aside from her tail, I think she's really cute! The tail is kind of icky to me though...

Thanks for the compliments everyone. She's not doing so well at the moment and could use all the support she could get :( A lot of vets know about her as of lately. Hopefully she'll get better (eye infection, eye ulcer, not eating, not pooping, shedding problems). Luckily a vet in halifax helped me out over the phone. She seems like she's improving.

It's one gecko there. When Skittles was a baby she had a lot of purple but as she grew older it faded and turned yellow (except for the bit on her back). Her tail purple turned white, but when she's sick you can see it :S

How long have you had her?
Leopard Geckos usually look like they're smiling unless they have something like metabolic bone disease (MBD). Skittles is about 5 years old. I've never had any problems with her until now. A lot of the time eye problems occur because of vitamin A deficiencies but it's been ruled out since she's been getting her vitamins and the other eye isn't affected..

so what is she? Aside from her tail, I think she's really cute! The tail is kind of icky to me though...
She's a Leopard Gecko. When they're born their tails are thinner. A big 'icky' tail means she's healthy. That's where she stores all her fat remains. I apparently store all mine in my butt. When she gets sick her tail gets thinner (and my butt gets smaller). If she gets scared her tail drops off and she'll grow a new one but not as 'pretty' (and my butt...no wait it doesn't work like that).

I hope she gets better and that her tail gets fatter. As for your but...wel I will leave that one for CC to chime in.
