the movie was ok, but i don't know what the big deal about it is. it wasn't that good. i can't imagine the books being that much better.

Well, when you consider Harry Potter has a plot, decent character depth and growth, and doesn't depend on ripping apart one of the world's best monster powers (unnatural attraction/persuasion) then of course HP is better :P

I made the mistake of trying to ride through Forks, WA on a weekend... EVERY store has something twilight. And one of the dedicated twilight stores was so full, people were standing in the street.

You know what's really funny? Everyone goes to forks to see the high school in the movie or the books. If you've seen the movie, the high school is on a hill. But... Forks is FLAT! There are no hills, and almost no trees in town! You should have seen how many people got angry when they found out that was faked... But then again, they should have known because the way it's described in the books isn't like the movie or real life either...
