Mellow Bay Area Cone Practice at Hollister Honda (date: TBD) September 2009
Start address: 1033 E Capitol Expy San Jose, CA 95121 (McDonalds, Starbucks, Quiznos, Taco Bell, Denny's, USA Gas Station. Meet at Starbucks parking lot.)
End address: Cone Practice at Hollister Honda Address: 411 San Felipe Road, Hollister, CA 95023
Pace: Speed Limit plus 5. Faster Groups may go ahead of us. Use your head and Ride your own pace. This is not a race track.
Lunch: Somewhere around Hollister Honda(bring your own water/gatorade for this cone practice and preferably a snack for yourself and maybe others?)
Meeting Time & Date: 930am and the date is to be determined (TBD)
Kick stands Up(KSU): TBD probably 1030am
Groups: Lets do one big group since its mostly freeway riding.
Length of ride: 41.4 miles (one way), Google maps says it's a 48 min ride to Hollister Honda to ride not including the time we stop for breaks and pictures. Which for you ninja 250 people out there, its less than about a gallon of gas or 2 on the way back.
You: Leather Jacket + leather gloves (mechanix gloves is a no no) or more if you prefer but you will not come riding in sandals and/or shorts which also includes your 2-up partner in the back seat. A good attitude and any motorcycle. Cars are welcome but they will stay in the very back to sweep. I will be there in in leather jacket, leather glvoes, helmet and shoes.
Bike: Tire Pressure is checked and filled if necessary and you have more than enough tire tread to make it through this ride. Bike is in mechanically sound condition.

6. Take the CA-25 exit toward Hollister - 0.2 mi
7. Turn left at CA-25 - 11.1 mi
8. Slight left at Bolsa Rd/CA-25 - 374 ft
9. Turn left at San Felipe Rd - 0.1 mi
10. Turn right at N Chappell Rd - 0.5 mi
11. Turn right at Pacific Way - 0.2 mi

Notes about this cone practice:
Cops will definitely be there, heck they might even come out with their bikes to show us a thing or two. Fold your mirrors in so you don't break them if you accidentally drop the bike on a turn. You will be asked to see your M1 license to when you sign the release of liability so bring your license! If you are under 18, I can get the waivers before hand and I will ask your parents to sign them to release of liability.
