Well ladies and gents Im going to look at a new toy this weekend. I might be buying an 04 FZ-6 as a new toy. Its beat up a bit but im told it runs like a champ. Sounds like a perfect fit for a new trackbike. It has 7700 miles on it and I can buy it for $1750. Ill keep you posted.
For all those wondering, NO Im not getting rid of my lil 250. Guess Ill have 2 trackbikes in the garage.

The beat up parts are in a pile on my garage floor. Then theres the dents in the tank one on each side. Other than that shes in great shape.

Airtech can fix it. Not sure I would bother with the dents if it is really a track bike, at least not until you are winning with it.

Screw the dents lol they add character. Im going to ship the front forks off to get them track prepped. ($475) A set of clip-ons and rearsets are on order. EBC HH pads and stainless lines are already here. New rubber is soon to be ordered. Last but not least a set of R-6 race plastic will be custom fitted to the front to protect the vital parts. No need to mess with the motor or exhaust. Its got plenty to get started with. (close to 100 horsepower)

Well, if you start winning then you need to fix the dents, don't want a beat up junker getting in all the pictures.
