In national motocross action at Southwick, Mass today John Dowd at age 44, went 10 and 2 for a 3rd overall. He comes out for 1 national race every year at his local track - southwick. He was also 3rd overall there 20 years ago. Some of the guys he beat today weren't even in school 20 years ago. For those of you who don't know about motocross, it would be like Michael Phelps coming in 2nd in the Olympics at age 60. Congrats to the junkyard dog.

you're right Henry won was the first to win a sx (YZ426 i think). Both come from New England though and climbed the ranks around the same time. Watched the race 2 times now on speed (too much rain for me to go). It was a heck of an effort.
