2018 BMW GS Trophy International Qualifying
The International GS Trophy is a motorcycle adventure that puts the world at your feet. Teams from all around the world battle it out in intensive daily stages and numerous special challenges. Past GS Trophy challenges have been held in Southeast Asia, North America, South America, South Africa and North Africa – and in 2018 the journey takes us to Central Asia - Mongolia.
Dates have been set for the first qualifiers for the 2018 International GS Trophy (http://feeds.feedblitz.com/~/t/0/0/rideapart/~www.bmw-motorrad.com) - and more will follow. If you want to compete with your GS, sign up right away and show off your riding skill, agility, fitness, team spirit and smarts. Interested American riders can check with BMW dealers on regional qualifiers in their area. The UK round is set for May 28-29.
The UK Qualifier features two days of riding around the beautiful Welsh mountains, following a road book and tackling challenges along the way. For many, the GS Trophy Qualifier will be about great riding, enjoying the challenges and having a load of fun on their bikes. But for the competitive people out there, we’ll be totting up the points and announcing which riders make it through to the final afternoon where they’ll compete for a place on Team GB at the 2018 International Final.

The event is suitable for riders of all abilities and levels. The open event will involve a range of enjoyable on and off-road riding challenges, as well as practical, teamwork and navigation tests on the stunning roads around the region. Importantly, the event is not a race, but an experience designed to capture the spirit of the GS, the exploration and the enjoyment adventure riding should bring.
The main event will involve a host of fun and enjoyable on and off-road riding challenges, as well as practical, teamwork and navigation tests on the stunning roads around the region. The GS Trophy is designed to be achievable by anyone, regardless of off-road riding experience and great bike skills will not be a guarantee of success.
