Just finished a weekend trip to Moosehead Lake in Maine in the company of a pristine Harley Sturgis with 60,000 miles on the clock, a Yamaha Star 900, Honda Road King (15 or 1700-am not sure), Yamaha Star 1500, and a BMW 1200 Dual Sport. We participated in a YMCA Board of Director`s Retreat. We had the usual great weather and gorgeous fall colour. Total miles for the trip was 305. The last 114 coming home was in wind, rain, and fog. We did have a moose--about 700lbs cross the road about 20meters in front of the Harley in the lead. The green Ninjette held her own despite looking a bit out of place with this group. It was a lot of fun.
