I'm sure the R1 has a salvaged title. In a Craig's List thread it was pointed out that if there is no mention of the title that it is probably a salvage/rebuild title. Way too much work to get a salvage vehicle back on the road here, and if they find that it was stolen, you could lose everything you have invested in it.
