Hey guys there is a new forum for the 400 that's been up about a fortnight. I've posted a bunch of stuff on there, some of which may be of interest.
There's only about six members at present so feel free to sign up! :fightputer:

Check it out here: http://www.ninja40***********m/

Why don't we just talk about the Ninja 400 here?

It's still the Ninjette.

Ninjette.org - smart enough to not put an engine size in the domain name, thus staying out of the cc wars.

Yep, Alex did something right. Doesn't matter 250cc, 300cc, 400cc they are all the smallest Ninja's of their time and all are a Ninjette. Just add a 400cc sub forum and we are good.

Yep, good point, you've got something good going on here. The other site is an alternative like the Ninja 300 one.
It's quite good to have more than one forum to flit between if ones having a queit day there may be something of interest on another.
Forum whore is the expression used I believe. :D

It's my understanding they're bringing the 250 back too, right? Will there be a need for a sub-forum called the "New-Newgen 250" or maybe the "Thirdgen 250" Forum"? :dancecool:

I'm not sure about new 250 coming to U.S...

I wish they'd bring the Ninja 125 here. Maybe it would discourage people from buying those annoying Honda Groms!

No, only 300 & 400 listed on Kawasaki USA web site.

https://www.kawasaki.com/#

I believe the 250cc version is for Asian countries with CC/licence/importing restrictions.

Sure thing. Well, I rang my local Kawasaki dealer this morning and ordered one!
Whoop whoop :dancecool:
I also ordered the Akrapovic slip on option as I'm picking this bike will be that chocked up with Euro 4 crap that it will sound like an asthmatic sewing machine trying to breathe through a little pee shooter size hole in the end of the can. Plus the pillion seat cowl as I'm not into pillioning and I think it looks cooler with the cowl on.
Just gotta wait 8-10 weeks now for the boat to get here from Thailand...

All forums deserve an equal shot on their own merits. But they don't get to advertise here or have my google ranking help theirs. It's like going to your one friend's house to tell everyone gathered how great the pool is at your other friend's house. :2cents:

I tend to find one forum per interest usually specific to the model I have and stay there. I'm here for my Ninja's, on the XL Forums for my Sportster, Glocktalk for my Glocks. I just don't have time for 6 forums for my Ninjas, 4 forums for my Sportsters, 5 forums for my guns, 4 forums for my truck, ect......

Nothing against the new 400 forum and I hope the 6 of you have a good time. But unless Alex bans me from here I don't see any reason to join another forum to discuss the Ninjettes.

You have friends with a pool?

I need to find better friends.

It's not clear to me, because the 300 is shown as a 2017 model, and the 400 is shown as a 2018 model. That leaves the possibility that the 250 will replace the 300 in 2018. I think that would make a really good spread of choices if it really happened. Of course another possibility is they're going to sell out the 2017 300s and sell only 400s after that.

But on the US web site no 250 is shown for either 2017 or 2018, so I doubt we will see one here in the next year. I guess anything is possible after that.

True, we can hope that after the existing 300s are sold, the new 250 will show up. Well, I guess it doesn't matter much to me anytime soon, I never buy new vehicles anyway. :)

250/400 makes a ton of sense for Japan, given their license classes. I'd love to see both of them Stateside but I doubt it. Really frustrating, as I hate to think how this will impact the small class racing groups. I can't imagine a 250 being able to compete with a 400 if the riders are anything close to comparable skill.

The 300+cc bikes have all but destroyed the 250 class at CVMA, we are down to 6 experts and 4-6 amateurs. The class is probably going bye bye next year.

AFM too! There’s only about 10 people left racing 250 Production class. Although I can hang mid-pack in the WSS300 class, chances of winning are slim. Twins can run one class down, so maybe if I run a 251-450cc twin... hmm... 2018 rulebook hasn't been posted yet, I betcha they tighten things down.

Aint no 250 class in CCS. I run with the 300's. Im curious to see the 2018 rulebook to see if anything is gonna change.

Hopefully in the midwest CCS doesn't allow the 400 in any of their classes. I already started bitching up a storm about it on their forum. 250 is dead here but 300 seemed to be growing. Coming out with a 400 is going to hurt that.

Kawi is killing itself for racing, but that isn't big bucks for them anyways. Give it a year or so and the classes will allow the ninja 400s.

The 400 fits nicely in the CCS 500 SS and SB classes. But I dont think they would be able to bump up into the LWT classes as those two typically are in the same race?
