Hey guys - just looking for some advice. As this will be my first bike, I'm torn between two options:

1. 2014 Ninja, ABS, 10 000 miles, Yosh exhaust, great shape, pearl white: $3000

2. 2015 Ninja 300, no ABS, 500 miles (almost never ridden), great shape, kawi green: $3300

I can't really tell if there are any differences between the two years (is there?), so I guess it comes down to miles vs ABS? What do you guys think, which option is better for a beginner and best deal?

Thanks

I don't consider 10,000 miles to be high at all. I put that many on one of my motorcycles the first year I had it. What you have is low miles, and nearly new. ABS is a great safety feature. I can't say how good the prices are, but I'm sure you've compared them to others on Craigslist.

The prices seem reasonable to me for the area, it's just the new vs ABS seems to be the biggest difference, I'm not sure how to value them or whether ABS is a must?

Both are pretty much new, 10k is nothing for these bikes. I did more than that on my bikes last year alone. There are numerous examples of 250s surpassing 100K-miles without issue and continuing on.

Go for ABS bike, it's great safety feature that you'll be glad you have when you need it.
