Day: Saturday Nov 14, 2009
Time: 1pm - 5pm
Location: Just Leathers http://www.justleathers.com/
2370 Stevens Creek Blvd
San Jose, CA 95128-1650
Free Tech Day is an opportunity for new riders (or old riders) to learn some basics on keeping their bike properly maintained. We clean and lube your chain, check tire pressure and condition, also check brake pads and brake fluid and condition. We also check for wear on the cables and make any minor adjustments needed (chains, cables, etc...) The best part is all this is done for FREE.
There is also refreshments and snack at the location for free. Not to mention if there is anything you might need done as far as alterations or leather replacements, maybe a new piece of leather riding gear. Just Leather can take care of that for you at a reasonable price. If you need parts, Gear, or accessories they can order those for you as well at the rock bottom of prices (Any of your needed items from Parts unlimited, Tucker, Etc). Not to mention Sales prices on in store items.
So come out and get the bike a once over and a snack to boot.
Catalogs can be found here
http://www.dragspecialties.com/fatbook
http://www.tuckerrocky.com/trweb.nsf/home?openform
Find the parts you need on these catalogs, bring the name and part number and where you found it (drag or tucker)
They can get you a price on this at a reasonable rate.
Support your local mom and pop stores. Literally they are owned and ran by Marc and Tracey.
If you aren't sure how to do something such as brake bleeding for your brakes, or oil changes bring the fluids, filter, parts by and be sure to be able to take the old stuff away.
see you there
